Jaehyun Kim
Jaehyun Kim is the captain of the Crevisse exploration crew, a trustworthy friend of social innovation entrepreneurs and an impact investor focusing on acceleration of social innovation businesses.
Since his founding of Crevisse Partners in 2002, Crevisse Partners has invested in and accelerated more than 30 impact ventures. By creating sustainable profitability, he has proven the potential of impact investing and impact ventures. Since 2014, he has been pursuing sustainable growth across Asia and Africa, through international development and blended finance. He is endeavoring to integrate impact investing with mainstream capital markets, such as establishing the Crevisse Impact Venture Fund No. 1 worth 20 billion KRW in 2018.
From 2010 to 2014, Jaehyun was the youngest senior executive in Kyowon Group - the biggest education company in Korea - and was in charge of developing a digital educational product called ‘Doyose English’, supervising numerous English education projects, and establishing a R&D system. In addition, he has been contributing to the social innovation sector from a non-profit perspective, by serving on the board of directors of Concern Worldwide, Impact Alliance, and Band Foundation.
From 2014, he was selected as a member of the Softbank Academia (Softbank Successor Group), a program to find the next Masayoshi Son, founder and CEO of Softbank Group. In 2019, he received the Presidential Citation for his contribution to social ventures and impact investing.
