Our History

History and records of the journey in innovating the world.

Crevisse was founded in 2002 with a goal to make not the biggest, but the most beloved company in Korea. In 2004, before the concept of 'impact investment' and 'impact business' was introduced in Korea, Crevisse started investing and incubating businesses that aimed to solve social problems. In 2006, Crevisse participated in Social Venture Contest Korea (SVCK) as the first institutional partner, which allowed it to gain deeper understanding of both impact investment as well as impact business. In 2007, Crevisse launched a funding solution, 'DONUS', as an independent impact business for non-profit organizations.

Over the past 17 years, Crevisse strived to make contribution to the society by developing businesses in sectors where market principle wasn't working. At the same time, Crevisse incubated 'In-company ventures' to solve social problems. Crevisse also collaborated with experts and entrepreneurs to make investments and develop various impact businesses.

As an impact venture group and community leading the industry, Crevisse plans to go beyond Korea and to make changes in Asia and around the world.
